many of us feel insecure from time to time;
insecure about ourselves - how we look, our weaknesses or inabilities, etc
insecure in relationships - friendships, family, perhaps even BGR
insecure in school - arises from comparison of grades in studies, etc

insecurities may surface in many ways;
if you remember from the Social Badge, i mentioned that having a Healthy Love for Self is important in building a good interpersonal relationship. You're probably insecure about yourself when you tend to compare yourself with the people around you. Such an act of comparison may lead you to feel good temporarily or simply even more bitter.
Hence it's important to identify what are your insecurities and to deal with them!
